Dating back to 1565, Gastehaus Zum Anker in Besigheim is a charming retreat nestled in the heart of the old town, offering a glimpse into the rustic Bavarian charm. The welcoming hosts went above and beyond, sharing insights on local history and nearby activities, enhancing the overall experience. The clean and nicely furnished rooms provided a comfortable stay for my family, with a touch of traditional Bavarian hospitality.The hotel's ideal location served as a perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside through hiking and cycling adventures, immersing us in the beauty of Bavaria. We also enjoyed the convenience of nearby wine tours and tastings in the picturesque towns, adding a touch of local flavor to our stay.Not allowing pets or service animals, this property maintained a tranquil atmosphere for a peaceful retreat. The presence of a supermarket nearby was a practical touch, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. The cozy seating area outside the room allowed us to relax and soak in the charming atmosphere of the historic building.With Ludwigsburg just 12 km away and Stuttgart a short 55 km drive, Gastehaus Zum Anker offers a perfect balance of serenity and accessibility to nearby attractions.
